The islands are only ten minutes away. Plenty of Bars and restaurants are twenty minutes away. Dolphins are always seen in surrounding waters. A customary 20% tip for the captain is standard.

Travel down the mangroves on the Faka Union Canal and out to one of the many beaches that make up the Ten Thousand Islands. The beaches we travel to aren't like typical crowded SWFL beaches; we venture to secluded and rarely occupied areas that possess great beauty, bountiful shells, and a relaxing setting. Shelling on these islands tends to be much better!

Hop in your bathing suit & kick off the flip flops! We head to Big Hickory Island Preserve. Weather allowing, we anchor on the gulf side for about an hour, but can also beach the boat on windy/cold days. Along the way, we will look for dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, stingrays, birds such as ospreys, eagles, and all the shore birds. The captain will also point out any cool houses, restaurants, and local history along the way. Bluetooth radio & cooler onboard. No spray sunscreen, please!
