Our story
BoatBooker started with a problem we’d already spent years working on: planning a great day on the water shouldn’t require local knowledge, endless searching, or dozens of messages.
In 2013, Vukan Simic founded FishingBooker with the idea that booking a fishing trip should be as easy as booking a place to stay.
Over the next decade, we learned a lot about connecting travelers with captains around the world, and saw that many of the same challenges existed beyond fishing.
So in 2024, we launched BoatBooker, expanding beyond fishing to more ways of experiencing the water.
Our goal is simple: help more people find great experiences on the water, and help local boat operators reach the customers looking for them.
