Private or not
The crew was very helpful, attentive, and friendly. Our group of 14 had a good time. We've done similar cruises over the years, and booked this "private cruise" expecting a more personalized private cruise. The drinks flowed freely, and the crew was attentive to all the guests requests. great staff, beautiful scenery, food and drink in abundance, great boat. Cash/paypal only, despite being informed by the captain that credit card was accepted. Was stuck having to use paypal with added fees. Advertisement for this cruise did state fishing was an option, and I asked for that option upon booking. Upon boarding we were informed fishing was not an option because the area was part of a national park. That is understandable, but why wasn't I informed that was not going to be an option so other arrangements could be made, or why couldn't you take us outside of the national park to accommodate what was advertised and requested? Snorkeling was not offered due to "murky" waters. The boat is beautiful, however having our party of 14 together in 1 area of the boat was nearly impossible. There are 3 areas to hang out in, but none suited to hold everyone at the same time comfortably. To get from the cabin and rear of the boat to the front or top of the boat requires good mobility as you must traverse the narrow outside edge of the boat. Not everyone in our party was able to do that. The location for swimming was a general location with 5 or 6 other cruise boats, so not such a "private" tour. One member of our party made the best of it and swam to each of the other boats to try out their slides. The sunset portion was beautiful, thanks to mother nature. Unfortunately our private yacht was already at the mouth of the marina along with a dozen other boats. The best view and photo opportunity of the sun setting on the horizon was blocked by another boat. This cruise was a great 1/2 day, one that could be experience by any other boat out there. I thought there would be more of a catered private aspect to booking this, and while we all had a good time the only thing private about it was that we were the only party on the boat.
