Great Dolphin Sighting, But Missed Sunset

2 Hour – Sunset / Dolphin Tour15 adults6 children

We booked the Sunset/Dolphin Tour because the website listed a maximum of 15 passengers. Since it did not clearly state that it was a shared tour, I assumed it would be a private charter. When we arrived at the dock, we were told it was a shared boat with other guests. Based on my experience booking boat tours at other beaches over the past four years, I found this to be misleading. Another disappointment was the "Sunset Cruise" advertisement. The boat returned to the dock before sunset, so we never actually got to watch the sunset from the water. Had we known this, we would have chosen an earlier dolphin tour and watched the sunset from the beach or another location instead. Overall, the tour was much less engaging than other boat tours we've taken. The only highlight was seeing a few dolphins. The captain gave only a brief introduction at the start of the trip. The crew mentioned we could ask questions if needed, but they spent most of the tour on the upper deck with very little interaction. We passed several islands, a lighthouse, and other points of interest, but none of them were identified or discussed. I ended up using Google Maps to figure out what we were seeing. The tour description also mentioned music and a fun atmosphere, but the experience did not match that expectation. Compared with other dolphin and sunset cruises we've taken, this trip felt quiet and uneventful. If we had not seen the dolphins, I would not recommend this tour. Unfortunately, aside from the dolphin sighting, the experience was disappointing and did not meet the expectations created by the advertisement.

    Dolphin Sunset cruise

    2 Hour – Sunset / Dolphin Tour9 adults3 children

We enjoyed the cruise, but sadly, no dolphins were in the sound that evening. Sunset was cloud covered so we also had a less than ideal sunset. It was still a relaxing evening overall. The boat holds 65 passengers and we were no more than 30 people so plenty of room to move around. We went up to the upper deck and the views were spectacular!

    We Had An Amazing Experience

    2 Hour – Sunset / Dolphin Tour14 adults

Even though we didn’t see any dolphins, my family enjoyed the experience and the relaxation. We had the whole boat to ourselves and our own music. We definitely recommend this tour. Our family will be coming back again.
