Originally I had booked a snorkeling afternoon trip. Captain Matt called me the day before to let me know that based on the wind, that Alligator Reef would be too choppy, and that closer in reefs would have limited visibility. He offered an alternative near shore, but based on what I had been expecting, suggested that I may be disappointed. He offered a refund if that was my choice. His honesty and customer focus was impressive. I asked about a fishing alternative which he was able to quickly accomodate. So glad that he could. Captain Joe was a great guy to spend an afternoon with, and put us on 100 lb. Tarpon in an area void of other charters. Captain Joe even spent time back at the dock to review the videos he had taken of hookups to select still shots of the jumps, release, etc. Highly recommend, and plan to fish again with them

    August boating trip

    We had an amazing time! Captain Matt knows the area in and out. He made sure we had a fantastic time and took extra care on making sure everyone was safe. Marina location is great for accessing Alligator reef and several other great snorkeling/dive spots. It had great facilities, bartender was great. Would 100% recommend this charter to everyone I know! We will be back for sure

    Great snorkeling trip

    2 Hour - Private Charter (PM) • 5 adults • 1 child

    Matt was a great captain, allowed us to go to a quieter spot for snorkeling as it was a busy holiday weekend. He had everything we needed to snorkeling including towels and drinks. He even provided recommendations for places to check out around the area we were visiting, highly recommend!

    Matthew was very accommodating in adjusting our schedule for a possible storm coming. He is full of information on various subjects related to the keys. Very experienced and professional with 35 years boating in the area. I would definitely use bamboo charters again.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our boat trip with Captain Matt. He was very knowledgable, sharing interesting facts with us along the way. Accommodations were great and he made our trip a lot of fun! We would definitely book another trip with him.

    Great Trip Catered to Us

    We had a great time! We did a variety of things - swam at the lighthouse, snorkeled in a different area, and enjoyed a more private and secluded sandbar. Captain Matthew was a joy to spend the day with and gave us the outing we had hoped for.
