Trustworthy experience and kids friendly

We had an incredible experience with Rowand and the Godfather. Rowand was incredibly patient, kind and caring as we journey with our three kids (5, 3 and 6m). He is genuinely passionate about his job and we felt safe at all times. The Godfather: you can tell she’s been around but has been very well kept, very clean and despite being on the small side, she can reach good speeds. I recommend Rowand with my eyes closed and will likely book with him again as I discovered they also do whale-watching, fishing and other trips.

    Brilliant experience

    3 Hour – Crystal Rock & Dolphins • 2 adults

    On the day, we arrived at the agreed time and the boat was already there waiting for us. The captain was friendly, welcoming and very helpful, taking the time to explain everything we needed to know before we set off. The highlight, of course, was swimming with the dolphins. They were located very quickly, and we were able to get into the water with them for an unforgettable experience. What we particularly appreciated was the captain’s respectful approach. These are wild dolphins, and he was clearly very conscious not to harass or disturb them in any way. There was absolutely no pressure to get too close or behave irresponsibly, which made the experience feel even more special. We spent around 45 minutes with the dolphins before moving on. After that, we headed to one of the reefs around the island for snorkelling, which was brilliant. The coral and fish were spectacular, and it was a real pleasure to spend time in such clear, beautiful water. We then enjoyed a bit of sightseeing before returning, with the whole trip lasting the full three hours. Overall, this was exactly what we had hoped for. We would definitely recommend Godfather Excursions for the ease of booking, reasonable pricing, excellent communication and the quality of the trip itself. A fantastic experience and a wonderful memory from our time in Mauritius.

    Exactly what we wanted

    3 Hour – Crystal Rock & Dolphins • 2 adults

    We booked a private 3h trip to swim for the first time with dolphins. The reason why we went with this vendor was another review saying that the captain was respectful to the dolphins by not chasing them down. And we had the same experience! We didn’t have the feeling that the captain was getting into the big crowd of boats surrounding the dolphins. Instead, he was always forward-thinking and always took us to the spot where the dolphins were most likely to reappear again so we could get into the water and swim. And we did! This beautiful animals were sooo close to us! 😍 Then we went to the crystal rock for nice pictures and at the end he brought us to the corrals were we were fortunate enough to see the TITAN trigger fish!! My personal mini highlight :)) Thank you for this unforgettable experience! 🙏 Definitely a recommendation! One suggestion to all bookers: Bring an action cam or something to catch this lucky under-water experience! We didn’t have any 😅

    Once in a lifetime experience :)

    2 Hour – Dolphin Watching Trip • 2 adults

    Rowan and Vicky welcomed us on time at the beach. We then began our adventure by the dolphin search and they could be spotted quite quickly. Several times, we jumped into the water and could observe the dolphins. After some time, we left the dolphins and were able to spend the remaining time snorkeling. Thanks again to Rowan and Vicky for this unforgettable morning.

    Amazing boating day out with great food

    6 Hours Dolphin and BBQ trip • 5 adults

    The captain and the crew are great! The timing of the programme was perfect, does not feel rush at all and we had plenty of time snorkeling in the sea and chilling. It was a memorable day as we got to swim with the Dolphins! Food was also prepared freshly on the beach for us with drinks provided and it was one of the best meal we had in Mauritius. Highly recommend this boat trip with this crew.

    Amazing few hours

    3 Hour – Crystal Rock & Dolphins • 4 adults

    We were looking for a dolphin boat trip that was respectful to the dolphins and this really was. The captain helped us find the dolphins so quickly, was great at spotting them and making sure we saw a lot of them but never felt like we were aggressively chasing them. We also got to see crystal rock and snorkel and saw some amazing fish. All round great few hours at sea!
