Don’t think twice! Go with Jean. Wow! What an incredible day! We had two little ones (6 and 2) and Cpt Jean was fantastic accommodating our group. He took it slow over the big waves, brought us to the perfect location and provided us a beautiful fruit spread which truly hit the spot. He also provided simple but yummy sandwiches, plenty of beer, water and juice (and some other stuff we just didn’t need!). His raft made for a fantastic central point to our hanging out on a perfect isolated island with bright blue water and powder soft sand. It was the perfect day! The boat was comfortable and fit our group of 5 (could have easily fit a couple more). He was a great host and provided us with one of the highlights of our trip. One thing I certainly don’t regret is taking a private tour vs the many huge boats packed with people. Trust me - most of them looked stuffed in on those boats, although they did look beautiful. We enjoyed our privacy and the ability to do exactly what WE wanted with our little ones. He also gave great suggestions for the rest of our vacation. Thank you Jean!

Our family recently had the absolute highlight of our trip to Puerto Rico thanks to Jean and Merluzapr! From start to finish, the island hopping experience was nothing short of incredible.

Jean is truly the best host you could ask for—he was professional, attentive, and made sure our family felt safe and entertained the entire time. The kids were absolutely thrilled to go swimming in such beautiful waters, and seeing the turtles and dolphins in their natural habitat was a magical experience we will never forget.

To top it all off, the burgers served on board were delicious—a perfect lunch to fuel our day on the water. We had such a fantastic time that we are already looking forward to booking another trip with Jean the next time we are in Puerto Rico. We had an incredible experience with our private boat captain yesterday in Puerto Rico. The tour was relaxed, well-paced, and exactly what we were hoping for. We got to snorkel with sea turtles and saw so many beautiful fish along the way. The captain made us feel safe, comfortable, and took us to some amazing spots we never would have found on our own.

If you’re looking for a more personal and memorable experience on the water, this is it. Highly recommend!

The captain was responsive and helpful from the start, making it easy to get to the right spot at the marina. The captain and crew were knowledgeable, attentive, and truly focused on our comfort. They reassured me when I was nervous about getting in the water, provided floaters and a raft, and we ended up spending two amazing hours swimming and spotting lots of turtles.

Snacks, drinks, and thoughtful conversation about the local area made the experience feel personal and authentically local. We never felt rushed, the boating skills were outstanding, and this was hands down our favorite activity of our week-long trip. Highly recommend for a private, romantic, and fun experience.

What a great day we had!

With a large family (kids aged 12,10,8, 2) boat trips away from home can be challenging. This was NOT the case here where everything was safe, smooth, fun and easy.

We had a delightful 5 hour trip (8am-1pm) where we were treated to 3 different islands, swimming and exploring. Our day was windy and with medium swells,  but Captain Jean took us to the most sheltered spots and helmed us through the big swell as gently as possible considering the conditions. Kids had a total blast.

We are boat nerds and highly recommend!
