What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Nassau for the first time?

We are serious saltwater fishing family. After researching the fishing options I chose not to because the charters are more catered to taking cruise ship land lovers tourist fishing. The beach boat tour worked out best for us.

Bring your own towels. Sodas and water provided but you can bring your own beer and keep it in the cooler. Bring a sweatshirt or something to stay warm after snorkeling because the breeze can be chilly.

The water was a little brisk. Captain Martin found the best day for us with the calmest winter water.

Definitely the pig island private island. Super clean! Swimming with the turtles was a lot of fun too!

Book in advance to avoid trying to find a boat at the last minute!!! Skip the other companies and book with Tropic Sea Adventures as their calendar sells out fast

Like I said, the charges for snacks was out of control too high. Other than that everything was perfect.

We had 11 of us and there was plenty space. Everyone was dancing, laughing, and sipping Bahama Mama like it was juice. The crew let us set the pace which we appreciated.

Even with tropical storm Erin on the horizon and the waters being a little rough, i would do it again in a heartbeat! Best day - hands down!

Don’t use the cruise excursions. This was a much more intimate experience tailored to your own preferences.

Slather on the sunscreen, stop by the store for some snacks/sandwiches, and be prepared to have a great time!!!!!

Having a boat to ourselves allowed my family to enjoy the Bahamas but also each other. It was a truly exciting personalized adventure!

Private is the way to go. It may be more expensive but you have the ability to go and visit wherever you want for however long you want.

The area near Nassau is great, I love how the water is! Beautiful! Loved that there's so many activities for the kids

It can get a little chilly on the open water. Bring a light weight jacket or sweatshirt just in case.
