What boaters say about Eco-Tours
- 5.0/5(2 Hour – Customize Your Trip)
Kid friendly cruise!
Brett and Jenny were so accommodating. Their boat is very nice and comfortable. They knew where to take us to look for dolphins, snorkel, and recommended a great lunch spot where they dropped us off at. Our kids had an absolute blast. We would definitely book with The Salty Crook again!
- 5.0/5(6hrs Your Way! Custom Trip. - 10:00 AM)
Fantastic Day Fantastic Captain
We booked a 6 hour day trip. we had no particular plan as we have never been to the island before. Captain Dillan was fantastic got us out to see stingrays, snorkeling, starfishpoint, and even had the time for some fishing. He was patient and amazing with my family. I could not reccomend this particular service enough.
- 5.0/5(3 Hour Trip – Sandbar Tour)
great day on the water with Captain Jon!
Fantastic boat that was spacious and comfortable. Jon was a great guide and took us to a warm sunny sand bar for floating and swimming. great trip! highly recommend!
- 5.0/5(5-hour Boating adventure)
great day on the water
What a wonderful day! 6 of us went out with Scott for a 5 hour trip island hopping and a little fishing as well. The Lil Yachty was a great boat with plenty of room for 6 and shade. Scott did a great job taking us to some great spots. We highly recommend Scott and will use him again if we're in the area!

About Eco-Tours
Eco-Tours are guided boat trips that explore wild coasts, bays, and rivers with care for nature. You get close to the action without leaving a heavy footprint. If you want fresh air, calm water, and real wildlife moments, this trip is for you.
On most Eco-Tours, you cast off in a small group. The captain keeps an easy pace to reduce wake. You may ride a stable pontoon, a smooth catamaran, or a nimble skiff. Expect slow cruising, short stops, and quiet views. You might spot birds, dolphins, or sea turtles. Many trips use hydrophones or viewing poles to help you see or hear life under the surface.
Here is how it works. You meet at the dock, check in, and get a short safety talk. The crew fits life jackets, also called PFDs, for all ages. Routes follow calm water when possible. The captain trims the engine and adjusts the throttle for comfort. You may anchor in a sheltered cove for a better look. Most tours last a few hours and return to the same dock.
Eco-Tours suit first time boaters, families, and photo fans. Kids enjoy the simple pace and clear views. Seniors and guests who prefer smooth water also do well. Bring sun protection, a hat, and soft shoes. Pack water and light snacks. A light jacket helps with wind on the bow. If you get motion sick, speak with your guide before you go.
Rules can change by area. Check local licenses and permits for operators. Ask about safety gear and the boat’s capacity rating. Follow all posted wildlife distance rules. Know where you can dock, anchor, or enter marine zones. For ocean trips, look for crews trained to USCG standards and local operating laws.
