Welcome aboard Salt City Boat Tours!

Founded in 2025, Salt City Boat Tours was created to share our love of the water and highlight the beauty, history, and wildlife of Manistee County. As lifelong boaters and owners of Copperhead Sportfishing Charters, we believe the best way to experience Manistee is from the water.

Our private tours are perfect for families, couples, and small groups seeking a relaxing experience on Lake Michigan, Manistee Harbor, Manistee Lake, and the Manistee River Channel. Depending on the trip, you may enjoy local history, harbor activity, waterfront homes, wildlife, scenic shorelines, and unforgettable sunsets.

Please note that these are sightseeing, history, sunset, and eco tours—not fishing trips. For Lake Michigan fishing charters, please book us through Copperhead Sportfishing Charters on Fishing Booker.

We also offer custom private tours to destinations such as Manistee Harbor, Manistee Lake, Lake Michigan, Onekama, Portage Lake, and historic Portage Point. Contact Captain Matt using the “Message Captain” button to create a trip tailored to your interests.

Guests may bring snacks and beverages. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but please do not bring hard liquor, red wine, or glass bottles. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for drugs, including marijuana in any form.

A small refrigerator is available onboard, and coolers are welcome. Please avoid spray sunscreen and bug spray while aboard, as they can damage equipment and upholstery. Lotion sunscreen is welcome, and bug spray may be applied before boarding.
