Masonboro Island excursion

4 Hour – Beach Excursion2 adults

On July 30th we hired Captain Jeff for an island hopping excursion to Masonboro Island, an uninhabited natural preserve that you can only get to by a boat. We boarded at the Wildfire Boat Launch near Snow Cut bridge in Carolina Beach. On the way he spotted a pod of dolphins. We anchored in the intercoastal waterway at the northern tip of Masonboro Island. It was low tide when we arrived which is a perfect time for wading and sitting in the shallow warm tidal water. There are a few picturesque trails to explore from the intercoastal waterway which cross over to the ocean side. Captain Jeff retired from the New Jersey Police force, moved to the North Carolina shore, and started his boating business. He is an experienced boat captain, punctual, reliable, and personable.     We had an absolutely amazing time with Jeff! He was a fantastic captain – punctual, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. Throughout the trip, he shared lots of interesting information about the area, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The boat trip to Masonboro Island was unforgettable. The beach was stunning, peaceful, and easily one of the most beautiful beaches we’ve ever visited. Jeff gave us plenty of time and privacy to enjoy the island at our own pace, which we really appreciated. He also provided cold bottled water, which was a thoughtful touch on a warm day. If you’re looking for a memorable and relaxing private boat tour, we couldn’t recommend Jeff more highly. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

    Jeff was communicative, and punctual along with very personable. We had a very pleasurable outing. We requested a two hour tour and Jeff easily accomodated us. Jeff has a very nice, clean boat and we throughly enjoyed our experience. I'd recommend booking with Jeff for any occasion.

    Best First Boat Ride Ever!

    10/10 experience with Capt Jeff! This was my first boat ride, and I had the best time everrrr! He was super friendly, professional, made the trip fun, andddddddd even let us connect to the bluetooth to play our own music! It was littt lol - we had too much fun! I would definitely book again!
