  5 Hours Palomino and Icacos on August 18, 2025 • 5 adults

  To tell the truth, we almost canceled because hurricane Erin was still looming somewhere north west, and it was a cloudy day we thought was unsalvageable. Captain Alexis assured me he knew a spot where we could go and have a great day. We were skeptical, but put our trust in the Captain and made the trek out to the Marina where we were met by a great big smile from the Captain, and a beautiful boat. We loaded up settled in and set out still uncertain of what the day would bring and how much of the day we would get to enjoy. As we pulled up to the beach we were greeted by the sun which we hadn’t seen in a day and half, and a pristine beach. Still can’t believe what a day we had. Captain Alexis had not only been right, but also took excellent care of us. We cant wait to come back and book again, and I can’t recommend Yatecito enough!!!

  A fabulous day with Captain Colon!

  My husband and I traveled to Puerto Rico with our four children (15, 11, 10, and 5) for spring break and wanted to do a boating experience with them. We had originally booked something on Viator, but then cancelled that for Captain Colon’s Yatecito. The switch was worth every penny! There is an inside area where we could all fit while traveling out to the smaller islands. This made all the difference for our family—otherwise, we would have been miserable and soaked by the time we got there! Captain Colon kept in contact before our trip and had his boat stocked with little treats for the kids that made them so excited. He is very experienced and even knew everyone in the marina and out on the water. We felt like family while with him! He found sea turtles for the kids and anchored the boat in several different places for us to swim. He took us to secluded beaches and kept everyone entertained. We took a risk as his boat is new to this format and there weren’t any reviews, but it totally paid off. The only thing I might suggest is to bring your own snorkeling equipment so that it fits for your family’s ages. We had such a memorable day on this boat and will miss Captain Colon and his wonderful energy. Our kids truly looked up to him! When we go back to PR, we will be seeing him again.   Great Relaxing beach and snorkeling day!

  5 Hours Palomino and Icacos on May 30, 2025 • 4 adults • 2 children

  Captain Alexis was very responsive to questions and flexible. He took us to Icacos for snorkeling and beach time the waters were beautiful lots of little fish for my kids to enjoy. He cooked hotdogs for us and provided fruit and local beers to drink. We ended the day seeing lots of sea turtles in his secret spot!

  Alexis and his boat are awesome!

  The boat was super clean and well maintained. It was 4 of us and it was very roomy and comfortable. Alexis was great. Very attentive and fun. I mentioned in the booking that we were celebrating a birthday and he got a cake for us! We will definitely be going back to him when we are back in PR and recommending him to our friends! Thanks!

  We had an amazing time on boat & couldn’t have asked for a better day. Will definitely be booking again next time we are in Puerto Rico. Alexis was a great guide and created the perfect day for us!!
