My wife and I booked a last minute sunset sail and were pleasantly surprised to get a confirmation so quickly. The weather forecast was a little touch and go, but Captain Mason amd Captain Lynne were excellent to work with. They contacted us and suggested that if we were flexible they could monitor the weather and adjusted the departure time accordingly. We are very glad they did. We went out a little earlier and had beautiful weather.
Overall experience was great from start to finish. Beautiful boat, great sail, and Captain Mason and Captian Lynne were great company throughout. Highly recommend!

Weather management is honestly one of the bigger parts of running a private sailing charter out of Martha’s Vineyard. Vineyard Sound can turn fast, and we would much rather have a conversation with guests ahead of time and find a window that works than go out in conditions that are going to make for a miserable sail. The fact that you and your wife were flexible made it easy to find that window, and the morning light on the Sound made it worth the adjustment.

Captain Mason and First Mate Lynne offered a very convenient pick up point next to the draw bridge in Woods Hole. From there, the experience got even better as they related their knowledge of the local harbor and surrounding waters. They have vast sailing experience and it shows. The boat is 42 ft, with sails and an engine. The navigational equipment is sophisticated. We were able to swim, eat a nice dinner, and watch the amazing sunset.
