What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Stock Island, Florida for the first time?

We messaged the captain for any questions we had & he was very prompt in answering & very knowledgeable. The 3 of us each brought a bag, with towels, hats, reef safe sunscreen, drinks & snacks & he had a coolers/ice we could use. He also had water for us.

Be sure to pack a lunch and be mindful of your sunblock application on the boat! Put it on before you get onto the boat and sit on a towel if you’re covered in it. Reef safe sunblock only:)

I would do this first before going on a big group tour. Having your own boat with family and friends is very enjoyable and the boat was a smooth ride on the ocean
