I've spent over 40 years on the water, turning a lifelong passion for boating into a profession dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences. After moving to Florida in 2006, I set my sights on becoming a licensed captain and proudly earned my credentials in 2017. I then spent years honing my skills with established charter companies, learning exactly what makes a day on the water truly exceptional.
In June 2024, I brought that vision to life by launching Tortuga Boat Adventures. Today, I'm proud to offer personalized, memorable trips designed to help guests relax, explore, and experience the beauty of Florida's waters like never before. 3 Hour – Boating Adventure • 5 adults • 2 childrenWe had an absolutely amazing experience with Tortuga Boat Adventures! Captain Brian and his wife, Christina, made our trip unforgettable from start to finish. They treated us like family the moment we stepped aboard, making everyone feel welcome, relaxed, and right at home. This trip created memories that my granddaughters and I will cherish forever. We were thrilled to see dolphins swimming, spent time collecting beautiful seashells, and enjoyed every minute on the water. Christina was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we had the best experience possible, she even bought ice cream for the kids! Their kindness and hospitality made the day even more special. If you're looking for a fun, relaxing, and truly memorable adventure in Sarasota, I can't recommend Tortuga Boat Adventures highly enough. It was one of the highlights of our trip! My husband and I are already planning to book a sunset cruise with Captain Brian and Christina the next time we're in Sarasota. We can't wait to be back!

Special 5 hour trip for Rachel Arnett • 5 adultsWe had an amazing day with Tortuga Boat Adventures! From start to finish, the trip exceeded our expectations. Captain Brian was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone had an incredible time. We saw dolphins multiple times, and getting to watch them so close was unforgettable. The tubing was an absolute blast and a huge hit with everyone on board! We also cruised past the beautiful waterfront homes, relaxed on rafts at Midnight Pass, and had plenty of time to explore, snorkel, and search for shells. Captain Brian made the experience fun, safe, and personalized, making sure there was something for everyone to enjoy. This was the perfect outing for our entire group—our teenagers and seniors alike had an unforgettable time. If you’re looking for a fun, relaxing, and memorable day on the water, we highly recommend Tortuga Boat Adventures. We’ll definitely be back!

3 Hour – Boating Adventure • 4 adults • 2 childrenJust 3-4 hours with Captain Brian and you'll understand why this is a must experience to add to your list of things to do in Sarasota. Communication from the get go was spot on, catering to the fact that we have two boys that love to roam the beaches and jump in the ocean. We were able to dock at a private beach, swim in calm ocean waters, collect shells and shark teeth, and sightsee the beautiful view on the way there and back. This is a must experience you can't miss. There is no doubt we'll be back the next time were in the SRQ area.

The boat was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and everything was handled so professionally and they thought of everything. The captain and his wife made the day fun, relaxing, and stress-free while showing us some incredible spots on the water. You can tell they truly care about giving people a great experience. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip, and we would absolutely book again the next time we’re in Florida!

We had a girls trip for 5 friends, and they were super accommodating with pickup taking pictures of us, and taking us to interesting areas for shelling, relaxing, and sightseeing. I cannot say enough good about this trip and the Captain and "crew". Book it - you will not be disappointed.
