What's up, y'all? I'm Captain James Craddock, but you're more than welcome to call me Jamesey Boy or just James. I would love for you to join me for a day on the water Sightseeing, Dolphin watching, Bird watching, and much more. I am a true native of the area, with 7+ generations of commercial fishing experience and being the fourth-generation captain/guide. I grew up on the water fishing pound nets and crab pots with my dad and even spent a summer on the trawl boat shrimping with my grandfather. All that to say, I love spending the day in the sun, especially on the water around my home. Safety and smiles are the most important things with me on the water.

3 Hr – Soundside Adventure PM • 5 adultsOur captain kept us updated about the weather, postponed our trip to make sure we had the best conditions, and communicated with us every step of the way. He made me, my boyfriend, and my three sons feel comfortable from the start. He never rushed us, let us help decide how we spent our time, and truly wanted us to enjoy the trip. You can tell he cares about his guests and takes pride in his new business. Highly recommend!

3 Hr – Soundside Adventure AM • 4 adultsIt was a very windy day, and we had to alter our plans a bit, but Captain James made sure we had a fabulous time. He was very knowledgeable about the OBX, and answered all our questions. We didn’t feel rushed at all; in fact, we got extra time at a private sand island beach. I loved that our boat was low and agile, providing a front row seat to dolphins. Our excursion was everything we hoped for. Highly recommend!

Sunrise photography trip • 1 adultCaptain Craddock, went the extra mile for me. This was a photography trip to shoot the Bodie Island Lighthouse. He carefully planned (in advance) how to get into the very difficult area we had to go in for me to get the shots I wanted. Also, he is a great guy to work with. He will help in any reasonable way. He did a great job for me and I highly recommend him!

2hr soundside adventure morning • 5 adultsWe had a phenomenal ride with James on our trip to the Outer Banks! He was extremely well educated, and prepared for our trip! He took us all around, and showed us all the sites we wanted to see! James was able to get us up close to dolphins which made the ride 1000x cooler as well! We overall had a great time and were super thankful for the experience he gave us!

2 Hr – Soundside sunset adventure • 2 adultsThis was easily the most fun we had during our trip. James was awesome, easy to talk to, knowledgeable of the area, and super informative. He had a plan for the evening and it just seemed like the 2 hours flew by. I would highly recommend this trip with James to anyone visiting OBX!! Cant wait to come back and do it again!
