Background: Captain Isander has been an enthusiast of marine life and local history most of his life and loves sharing knowledge with other people. He is a USCG-certified Master Captain, biologist, former corporate executive, and jack of all trades. His first experience in boat tours was over 30 years ago in the beautiful waters of the Caribbean. He has resided in Bradenton, FL since 2013, and has a passion for enjoying and preserving the rich history and natural resources around Anna Maria Island.
Techniques: There is much to enjoy by boat in the Anna Maria Island area including visiting smaller islands and sandbars, sightseeing along shorelines or waterfront homes, encounters with dolphins, manatees, marine birds and other wildlife; or just stop at one of many restaurants in the area to enjoy delicious food. A preferred activity is to anchor at a quiet bay, cove or bayou and fully immerse in the sounds of nature.
