Captain Isander has been an enthusiast of marine life and local history most of his life and loves sharing knowledge with other people. He is a USCG-certified Master Captain, biologist, former corporate executive, and jack of all trades. His first experience in boat tours was over 30 years ago in the beautiful waters of the Caribbean. He has resided in Bradenton, FL since 2013, and has a passion for enjoying and preserving the rich history and natural resources around Anna Maria Island.

    Great afternoon on the water

    Sandbar & Dolphins 4hr (PM) • 3 adults • 1 child

    We had an awesome experience with Santiago from Bay2Bay Tours! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the local wildlife, the history of the area, and Egmont Key, which made the trip both fun and interesting. The boat was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and Santiago had everything we needed to enjoy the water—including a paddleboard, floating platform, and even an underwater scooter. He took us by the old fort ruins at Egmont Key and then out to a couple of beautiful sandbars where we were able to snorkel, explore, and just enjoy the water. Santiago was friendly, professional, and made the entire experience feel relaxed and personalized. We had a great time and would absolutely recommend Bay2Bay Tours to anyone looking for a fun day out on the water!

    Capt. Isander Santiago gave us a "10-Star" pontoon cruise!!

    Sandbar & Dolphins 4hr (AM) • 5 adults

    Capt. Santiago is friendliest host we've ever met (G-Ma, Mother & 3 kids- 13, 15, 19). This tour is great for multi-generations. Capt. Santiago is wealth of marine life knowledge. On 'tritoon', saw Dolphins; a Spotted Manta jump.... Common 'marine area birds'... The history of Cortez fishing ... . Mangrove 'islands' and their marine importance to aquatic life... and beaches. And, more .... Sandbar stops. Provided aquatic experiences than my family ever had. 1. Searching for shells. Capt Santiago is wealth of knowledge about what they found. Sometimes living aquatic animals ('pregnant conch', ... occupied conchs, spider crab, ....)- ALL gently returned to sandbar water home under Santiago directions. 13 & 15yo in a shell territory contest!! 2. Paddleboard. The 13yo had never done it, but in under 10 minutes was solo on standing & paddling. Mom & 15yo went tandem:-) 3. Snorkeling. In advance, 13yo insisted she WANTED to snorkel. None had ever done: Mom & 3 kids tried it. Mom, 19 & 15yo good. The 13yo took to it & kept at it! 4. Motorized Water Propulsion. ALL tried it, and quite popular. 5. Floatpad also used!! My way to relax.

    Excellent boat trip! Captain Santiago was an excellent host. We toured Egmont key and Passage key. We did some fishing, and he showed us the lay of the land and sea around Anna Maria Island all while educating us in the history of the island. We saw beautiful properties along the bay as well. Our group would recommend him and hopefully will add two boat tours when we return next year.

    Full Adventure Day I BEST VALUE! • 4 adults • 2 children

    Best day spent sand bar hopping, sand dollar searching, and enjoying beautiful Anna Maria! Captain was great with the kids and even helped search for sand dollars! Highly recommend!

    Amazing Views!

    Captain Santiago was so down to earth and match the relaxed vibe we were looking for. Had an amazing time on the water. Enjoyed the sandbars and paddle boarding. This was the cure to overworked parents and kids not missing screen time. Not a complaint the entire day! Definitely doing this agin soon!
