Captain Joel Brandenburg has been a full-time charter boat captain since 1999. Second-generation captain in the Florida Keys. Joel Brandenburg's fish is 300 days a year, so he can afford to hunt the other 65. He wakes up every morning, mad at the fish and ready to get them. He has a passion for taking kids fishing and showing them how to catch the fish, clean the fish, cook the fish, and eat the fish.

    Captain is a fish whisper!

    We had high seas due to high winds but we were well taken care of by Captain Joel. He knew just where to go and gave us an enjoyable day on the water. First mate Sean had the patience of a saint with helping our three kids fish all day. They caught so many different fish. My wife even caught a shark, which was fun to reel in and fun to watch Sean take it off the hook for her. Great family time spent on the water with the Ana Banana team. Would highly recommend to anyone! Just got back from an amazing fishing trip! 🎣 The weather was perfect, and the catch was even better. I even managed to reel in a personal best...a shark! 🏆 Definitely a day for the memory book. Love being out on the water with my favorite people!

    Awesome family fishing trip on Ana Banana!

    Our family of five enjoyed four hours of fishing near the 7mile bridge with Captain Joseph and First mate Phil. Phil was great working with our 10 year-old daughter to help her catch some fish. He is very personable and great at coaching us while fishing. We caught our limit of snapper. Very good eating. Highly recommend this company. Capt joseph parked us in a great spot to avoid cold winds(it was a chilly day in the keys).

    Great way to spend a day

    6 Hr – Ultimate Boating Adventure • 4 adults

    We were a group of 4 adults and we scheduled 6 hours. It was just the right amount of time to check out a few areas, see the sea life and catch some fish. Thank you Brian for being a great host!

    Captain Brian did a great job showing us around. We went just sightseeing and he really worked to show us things. The highlight was dolphins, but we saw many other things. Lined us up for the best sunset photos I've ever seen. It was fantastic

    Great time with Brian and Danelle. Had a tour mixed with sightseeing and fishing. Loved the fishing and Brian was very accommodating to my needs. This young man loves to fish!
