- I have built my experience in the ocean over many years, not overnight. I began working in artisanal fishing, where I spent several years developing strong knowledge of the sea and local conditions. Later, I dedicated nearly 25 years to professional diving, specializing in the capture of ornamental fish for export. This stage of my life allowed me to gain deep expertise in marine environments, underwater behavior, and the rich biodiversity of the region. Over time, I also worked in lobster diving, but my main foundation and stability came from professional diving, where I worked consistently with export companies. This long trajectory has given me a solid and respectful understanding of the ocean. For the past 15 years, I have focused on operating boats and providing personalized experiences at sea. Although boating has always been part of my family tradition, La Pola is the boat I personally operate and take pride in. With my deep knowledge of the Gulf of Papagayo and the Guanacaste coastline, I strive to take my guests to the most beautiful and special places in the area. Every trip is guided with experience, safety, and a genuine passion for sharing the natural beauty of Costa Rica.
