We will visit some of the most and secluded beaches in the area, including Playa Jícaro, Playa Nacascolo, Playa Las Cuevas, and Playa Nacazcolito. If tide conditions allow, we may also explore the mangrove river for a unique and peaceful escape into nature.
Along the way, you may encounter dolphins, sea turtles, and even whales during the season. For those who wish, light fishing can also be part of the experience.
Designed for comfort and enjoyment, this tour includes snacks and refreshments on board — everything you need for a relaxing and memorable day at sea. NOTA : For the final payment of the tour, if you would like to pay in cash, it would be much better for the captain. However, if you prefer a more convenient option, you can also pay by card; please note that a 13% fee will be added to cover bank charges and government taxes.

We had the pleasure of spending a beautiful morning with Captain Alberto and Christian in the waters around Costa Rica. We visited 3 beaches, Monkey's Head Island, the caves on Playa Huevos, and snorkelled in clear blue waters. The Captain provided us with drinks and snacks, plus fresh cantaloupe and pineapple between beach hopping. Our personal favourite was Playa Nacascolito; crystal clear waters and a beach heavily populated with hermit crabs and shells. Overall this was a great experience and we would highly recommend Captain Alberto… he was very informative on the boat, and gave us several great recommendations offshore to visit for the remainder of our vacation.

Captain Alberto was so much fun! He took us all over, stayed out longer than the tour to accommodate us and make sure we got to see everything, took us snorkeling and found sea turtles, dolphins, and monkeys! I even had a sea turtle swim right up to me! We brought our 15 month old son with us and he took us over to the monkeys! It was such a good time! Drinks and fruit were included! Thank You Alberto, you gave us an experience we will be talking about as a family for a lifetime!

Fantastic 3 hours with Alberto Alejandro. He really knows the water, the jungle and the snorkeling beaches. We saw Crocodiles, fed monkeys and snorkeled on incredible beaches. All in 3 hours. Well done Captain! Well done.

I have built my experience in the ocean over many years, not overnight. I began working in artisanal fishing, where I spent several years developing strong knowledge of the sea and local conditions. Later, I dedicated nearly 25 years to professional diving, specializing in the capture of ornamental fish for export. This stage of my life allowed me to gain deep expertise in marine environments, underwater behavior, and the rich biodiversity of the region. Over time, I also worked in lobster diving, but my main foundation and stability came from professional diving, where I worked consistently with export companies. This long trajectory has given me a solid and respectful understanding of the ocean. For the past 15 years, I have focused on operating boats and providing personalized experiences at sea. Although boating has always been part of my family tradition, La Pola is the boat I personally operate and take pride in. With my deep knowledge of the Gulf of Papagayo and the Guanacaste coastline, I strive to take my guests to the most beautiful and special places in the area. Every trip is guided with experience, safety, and a genuine passion for sharing the natural beauty of Costa Rica.
