The Amberjack company is a union of two of my dreams: Owning a sportfishing charter boat & Creating a company that creates jobs and positively impacts the local community. Julio is my partner in the business. He is the master creator of the magic our clients experience at Amberjack Tours. He has more than 15 years of experience as a sport fisherman and working at sea, and more than 20 years working in the Costa Rican tourism industry. Also a licensed captain, he most enjoys creating unforgettable encounters between clients and the sea. We are a locally-owned and operated sportfishing and ocean tours company located in Playa Flamingo, Costa Rica. We are not only passionate about sharing the beauty and excitement of our coastal paradise but also deeply rooted in a legacy of serious fishermen and women.

    Fantastic!!

    Combo - Whales & Dolphins & Snorkel • 2 adults

    We saw all that we were promised and more. Our Captain Jimbo was great. He was an excellent Captain and he read the waves well. Denis, our first mate was super. Spoke great English and was really knowledgeable about Costa Rican marine life. We saw whales and even a baby. So many turtles swimming with us. He took us to see adorable little white face monkeys. Snorkeling was average. Lots of fish but sadly the reef is pretty dead much like in most of the world. The trip was wonderful and very memorable thanks really to Denis. Really worthwhile. Highly recommended.

    great snorkling experience

    my family of 3 had a wonderful time snorkeling with the crew of Amberjack. They were knowledgeable about the area and we left with great memories of seeing lots of underwater life.

    Spectacular experience from beginning to end

    I cannot say enough about this tour and the crew. The owner was so communicative and the staff were so knowledgeable and flexible. Great snorkelling guides too! HIGHLY, highly recommend. I will be booking again next year when we come to visit.

    Wonderful Snorkeling Excursion

    Had a great snorkel morning with Amberjack. Two snorkel sights, loads of information, beverages and fruit and much attention paid to our 13 yr old grandson. Would definitely use them again.
