I have run boats 16 foot to 45 foot in the Sarasota area since 2016 and there is no place I would rather be! Hey there, I'm Captain Tobey, Owner and Primary Captain. I'm looking forward to being your Captain for the day! I have been running boats since I was a kid in Ohio, a great state to be from, and once I moved to the Sarasota area in 2016 I knew I had to do more with it. Having attained my U.S. Coast Guard 25 Ton Master License, I struck out to with the goal to replace my current job with this one! In this area I started out in a local boat club, I've had the pleasure of learning our waterways and all the best spots in the area from several of the area's best captains, so kick back and enjoy the ride in comfort, style and safety while we take you to experience the best that our are waterways have to offer. Having spent a lot of time overseas as a contractor, I have found my true passion in the crystal clear seafoam waters of Sarasota. Normally I travel for work and only spend a few months at a time in the area. I decided to turn my passion for the area into an opportunity to share the gems of our home in an effort to hopefully never work another day in my life! We want to offer a taste of local life in Sarasota and share the abundance, beauty, and joy of some of the things we love to spend our days doing. We love to help people make life long memories about that time at the sand bar, or lido beach for the beach party. Generating smiles is what we are all about! Taking some inspiration from one of our favorite shows, Below Deck we strive to offer the big luxury boat experience in a smaller package with all the amenities, toys, games, chairs and floats available to the premium beach party package in addition to the sand bar parties.     Tiki Tour at Siesta

    4 Hour – Morning Sandbar Trip • 7 adults • 2 children

    What a fantastic experience we had. My family and I decided to book this somewhat last minute, they had availability and we’re eager to get us on the water. They called us to ask if we had any flexibility with our schedule which we did in case of the weather, but we didn’t need to change our original plan. Our 5 & 7 year old had the time of their lives! The captain was great, informative & extremely froendly. The whole day was awesome. We found some amazing shells and can’t wait to book a tour for our next vacation! Thank you to Captain Cliff for an extraordinary adventure, and to Colby for allowing him to take us out!

    amazing day with Captain Paul!

    4 Hour – Morning Sandbar Trip • 7 adults

    Our family came down to visit and we decided to book the morning sandbar cruise. Captain Paul was AMAZING, so fun and had great trivia! We highly recommend him and Beach Bum Charters! We saw so many manatee, dolphins everywhere, even had a baby sea turtle hatchling swim past us while swimming at a beautiful sand bar!!! What an amazing trip and experience!!! Book now!!!     We loved our boat day and our captain Greg was amazing! We felt safe and had a great day on the water, really enjoyed the dolphin and Greg sharing his knowledge.

    Exceeded our expectations!

    4 Hour – Morning Sandbar Trip • 8 adults

    The boat chartered by Captain Clif was amazing! Very friendly and accommodating staff. Clean, spacious boat for 9 adults. We did the 4 hour boat ride 10-2p, highly recommended. We started in Siesta key and then headed to a fun sandbar, then docked at a tiki bar!

    fun in the sun with Captain Colin

    Special 4 hour trip for Christina Connolly • 8 adults

    We had a wonderful time on the boat with Captain Colins. We enjoyed going down the slide. We also Snorkeled. Captain Colin got in and snorkeled with us. He showed us sea urchins and sea sponges. It was a wonderful experience.
