SunDancer is a 2006 Hurricane GS-231 Center Console, beautifully restored in 2024 and designed for comfort, fun, and versatility. Powered by a 250 HP Yamaha outboard, she cruises smoothly at speeds up to 40 knots, making it easy to explore sandbars, islands, and hidden local gems. The boat comfortably hosts up to six guests and comes equipped with an audio system, outside speakers, fishfinder, baitwell, rod holders, and an ice box—perfect for both relaxation and adventure.
Beach Bum Charters specializes in a wide range of experiences, including booze cruises, snorkeling and diving, island hopping, fishing trips, canal tours, pontoon and tiki outings, and private boat or yacht tours. Our family came down to visit and we decided to book the morning sandbar cruise. Captain Paul was AMAZING, so fun and had great trivia! We highly recommend him and Beach Bum Charters! We saw so many manatee, dolphins everywhere, even had a baby sea turtle hatchling swim past us while swimming at a beautiful sand bar!!! What an amazing trip and experience!!! Book now!!! The boat chartered by Captain Clif was amazing! Very friendly and accommodating staff. Clean, spacious boat for 9 adults. We did the 4 hour boat ride 10-2p, highly recommended. We started in Siesta key and then headed to a fun sandbar, then docked at a tiki bar!

The captain was extremely knowledgeable of the history of all best areas on Siesta. Tour famous people and homes. Sand bar and shark teeth, dolphins manatee best time!!

I have run boats 16 foot to 45 foot in the Sarasota area since 2016 and there is no place I would rather be! Hey there, I'm Captain Tobey, Owner and Primary Captain. I'm looking forward to being your Captain for the day! I have been running boats since I was a kid in Ohio, a great state to be from, and once I moved to the Sarasota area in 2016 I knew I had to do more with it. Having attained my U.S. Coast Guard 25 Ton Master License, I struck out to with the goal to replace my current job with this one! In this area I started out in a local boat club, I've had the pleasure of learning our waterways and all the best spots in the area from several of the area's best captains, so kick back and enjoy the ride in comfort, style and safety while we take you to experience the best that our are waterways have to offer. Having spent a lot of time overseas as a contractor, I have found my true passion in the crystal clear seafoam waters of Sarasota. Normally I travel for work and only spend a few months at a time in the area. I decided to turn my passion for the area into an opportunity to share the gems of our home in an effort to hopefully never work another day in my life! We want to offer a taste of local life in Sarasota and share the abundance, beauty, and joy of some of the things we love to spend our days doing. We love to help people make life long memories about that time at the sand bar, or lido beach for the beach party. Generating smiles is what we are all about! Taking some inspiration from one of our favorite shows, Below Deck we strive to offer the big luxury boat experience in a smaller package with all the amenities, toys, games, chairs and floats available to the premium beach party package in addition to the sand bar parties. Security deposit of US $170 per tour is required
A refundable deposit of US $170 per tour is required at boat pick-up and will be returned to you when the boat is returned without damage. Security deposit is to be paid directly to the charter operator.

Fuel is included in the price of the rental.
How cancellations work
Free cancellation up to 3 days prior to trip
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Reserve with a 10% booking deposit, pay the captain the rest
When the captain confirms your trip, BoatBooker charges your credit card a 10% booking deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
