For him, boating is more than a profession, it's a lifelong passion shaped by summers spent in Door County, Wisconsin, exploring Lake Michigan from an early age. His journey began in Sturgeon Bay, where he first took the helm of his grandfather's boat, sparking a love for the water that has only grown stronger over time. Today, Ben is an experienced captain who has owned and operated his own vessels and now shares that same joy with his wife and two young sons. Through Bayside Voyage, he helps guests create unforgettable moments on the water, with a fleet of three boats ranging from 19' to 37' located in Chicago, Milwaukee, and Door County, WI. He believes the best memories are made on the water, and brings decades of Lake Michigan experience to every trip. Captain Ben is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and exceptional experience for all guests. He happily welcomes dogs onboard, recognizing they are part of the family. In addition to his USCG Master Captain's license, he is CPR certified and holds a TWIC card. While fun and enjoyment are always a priority, safety remains at the core of every charter.

Security deposit of US $300 per tour is required
A refundable deposit of US $300 per tour is required at boat pick-up and will be returned to you when the boat is returned without damage. Security deposit is to be paid directly to the charter operator.

Fuel is included in the price of the rental.
How cancellations work
Free cancellation up to 3 days prior to trip
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, BoatBooker charges your credit card a 15% booking deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
