Bring your favorite food, drinks, and playlist, then sit back while you enjoy the skyline, fresh air, and incredible views. Complimentary water toys, including a floating Lily Pad and water saddles, make it easy to cool off and enjoy the lake.
Your charter departs from 31st Street Harbor, one of Chicago's most convenient marinas. A USCG-licensed captain is required but not included in the listed price. Choose from our list of pre-approved captains (budget $100–$125 per hour, paid directly to the captain) or bring your own qualified USCG MMC 100-Ton Master with prior owner approval.
Charter Rates
Monday–Thursday: $200/hour (flexible scheduling)
Friday: $225/hour
Saturday: $300/hour
Sunday: $250/hour
A $200 fuel fee applies to every trip, with an additional $100 for Chicago River cruises. Wednesday evening fireworks cruises are available as 3-hour charters from 6:30 PM–9:30 PM, and holiday or special event pricing may apply (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Air & Water Show, and more).
Please note that Chicago River cruises are unavailable after 2:00 PM on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. We do not coordinate raft-ups with other charter boats. A 20% gratuity for the captain and crew is customary.
Your safety is always our top priority. Charters operate rain or shine, but if weather conditions are deemed unsafe by the captain, we'll work with you to reschedule whenever possible.

Security deposit of US $300 per tour is required
A refundable deposit of US $300 per tour is required at boat pick-up and will be returned to you when the boat is returned without damage. Security deposit is to be paid directly to the charter operator.
Fuel is not included
Fuel is not included in the price of the rental. Charter operator may charge you separately for the fuel used during your booking.
How cancellations work
Free cancellation up to 3 days prior to trip
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
