A sunset cruise is for relaxing, sightseeing, music, dancing, taking pictures, making TikToks, and enjoying the sunset. It is not booked or advertised as a fishing trip. The captain may occasionally put out a fishing rod if time and conditions allow, but fishing is only a bonus—not the purpose or guarantee of the cruise.
A fishing charter is specifically booked for fishing. The trip is planned around finding fish, using the proper tackle and bait, and spending the available time actively fishing. Catching fish is never guaranteed, but fishing is the main purpose of the trip.

Captain Rocky was amazing. At the beginning of the trip he offered for the kids to “drive the boat.” We had the best time relaxing while listening to music. The water was a little rough, but Captain Rocky was very accommodating. We ended up cruising around the inlet, which was nice. Definitely doing another charter with him again!
Capt Rock and his first mate Bullfrog were the best! They know their stuff, and were to put you on the fish! Their equipment was well taken care of and they pride their self on showing you the time of your life. If you want to stay on the porch then go ahead. But if you want to catch fish, you better be booking with Big Dog!
You all was amazing. Had a blast
We had a great time with Captain Rocky and his crew! They went above and beyond to make sure we had fun and caught some fish too! It was such a pretty sunset with great views. Highly recommend for families looking for something unqiue to do in Virginia Beach :)

Took my husband, father, and father in law on the booze cruze and it was definitely a great experience. will book again in the near future. my family and I had a great time. caltian was knowledgeable of the area and very helpful with directions.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our time with Big Dog! Captain Rocky and Bullfrog were fantastic hosts for a lovely sunset cruise! Would absolutely book with them again!

Security deposit of US $100 per tour is required
A refundable deposit of US $100 per tour is required at boat pick-up and will be returned to you when the boat is returned without damage. Security deposit is to be paid directly to the charter operator.
Fuel is included
Fuel is included in the price of the rental.
How cancellations work
Free cancellation up to 3 days prior to trip
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Reserve with a 20% booking deposit, pay the captain the rest
When the captain confirms your trip, BoatBooker charges your credit card a 20% booking deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
