We had an incredible charter today with Captain Lynn Truelove, and we can’t recommend him enough! The boat was absolutely perfect for our family. There was plenty of room on the back deck, complete with a built-in cooler, so everyone had space to relax. Inside, there was a comfortable dining area where we could cool off, enjoy lunch, and take a break from the sun. The refrigerator kept all of our drinks and snacks cold, there was a bed where our toddler could have easily napped if she had gotten tired, and the restroom was surprisingly spacious (which definitely came in handy after all the drinks!). The trip itself was even better than we expected. We saw countless dolphins and an incredible amount of local wildlife. Captain Lynn was extremely knowledgeable and shared so much about the waterways, marine life, and the area we were exploring, making the trip both fun and educational. We enjoyed swimming at beautiful local islands, watching dolphins all around us, and ended the day with a drop-off at Shipp’s Harbour Grill, which was the perfect way to finish an amazing day. What truly made the experience unforgettable, though, was Captain Lynn himself. He was fantastic with our child from the moment we stepped on the boat. He was patient, kind, engaging, and made sure she felt included and safe the entire trip. As parents, that meant the world to us and allowed us to truly relax and enjoy the day. If you’re looking for a private charter that’s family-friendly, relaxing, educational, and just an all-around unforgettable experience, Captain Lynn Truelove is the one to book. We will absolutely be back!

Captain Lynn was fantastic. With the predicted weather being full of rain and storms, he proactively reached out to us prior to our arriving town. We discussed options (considering other dates) and he continued to keep us apprised. The day of our excursion, Captain Lynn offered to adjust our time not once, but twice, in an effort to make the trip happen. In the end, we were able to squeeze the trip in between the rain, and it was well worth the wait! We chased dolphins and cruised through the bay. We got back to dock just as the next wave of storms were rolling in. We could not have asked for a kinder, more courteous and accommodating Captain. Thank you, Lynn!

Captain Lynn was absolutely amazing! He was professional, knowledgeable, and made our entire experience unforgettable. He knew exactly where to take us to see dolphins and even pulled up next to a shrimp boat, which turned into an incredible show watching the dolphins and birds come in together. He also took us to a beautiful beach where we were able to swim and relax. Beyond being a great captain, Lynn was so personable, friendly, and easy to talk to. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and wants his guests to have the best experience possible. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend Captain Lynn to anyone looking for a fun and memorable day on the water! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My family of 6 took a 3 hour cruise with Captain Lynn Truelove and had the best time. He took us to a spot where he knew the dolphins were and we saw so many and new babies!!!! He taught us so much about their behaviors. we got a lot of great videos and i think he enjoyed seeing them as much as we did. Captain Lynn knows the area and told us all about the scenery and history of the area. we also stopped at a sand bar and jumped off the back of the boat in waist deep clear water and found hermit crabs. He even stopped by to show us his house as we came back to the dock. It was an easy find to load up, beautiful boat, great conversations, and an amazing experience. We will do this again for sure!

Captain Lynn kept in contact with us about the weather for the day of our trip. And it worked out that we got to go on our cruise! We had so much fun and Captain Lynn is so knowledgeable of the area and of the wildlife. You can tell he takes great pride in his boat and giving his clients a really good experience. Our granddaughter really enjoyed sitting up with Captain Lynn and steering the boat and wearing the captains hat. We will definitely book with Captain Lanigan when we come back to Orange Beach. Our whole group was really impressed with him as our captain.

When the captain confirms your trip, BoatBooker charges your credit card a 15% booking deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
