Blind Squirrel Charters is a 2000 custom built sportfish based out of Stock Island. It can take up to thirty-eight guests. The boat is powered by two 900 HP diesel inboard MTU engines, offering a maximum cruising speed of 23 knots. The vessel comes equipped with airconditioning, audio system, baitwell, fishfinder, ice box, inside speakers, outside speakers, refrigerator and rod holders.
The captain, Mike Weinhofer specializes in fishing, boat & yacht tours and booze cruises.
Once onboard, you’ll have facilities to make your trip as comfortable as possible: aft sundeck, bow sundeck, flybridge and kitchen. Optional addons include drinks, lunch and snacks. Onboard policies are: alcohol allowed, children allowed, glass bottles allowed onboard and pets allowed.
You will find all the necessary safety features onboard, the boat features anchor, autopilot, chart plotter, depth finder, GPS, life jackets, radar, sonar, VHF radio and wheel steering are included.

We had such a great day of fishing with Captain Mike and First Mate Daniel. Daniel was so great with the kids and they brought in some beautiful fish- they tasted pretty good too 😉 The boat was perfect, giving the boys plenty of space to fish, while giving the mom’s a relaxing spot to enjoy the day while the kids were completely entertain. Thanks Daniel for making the day fruitful and fun, and thanks Captain Mike for the fun humor, smooth navigation and restaurant advice- which turned into the best meal of the trip! Great times all around. Next time we are in Key West we will be calling.

Capt. Mike comes from a family of anglers – he started fishing the waters around New Jersey at the age of 5, on board his dad's charter boat. They competed in tournaments together, and shared a true passion for angling. At the age of 7, he caught his very own Sailfish out of Islamorada, and told his dad that someday he would fish the Florida Keys for a living. How right he was! Over 28 years ago, Capt. Mike moved to Key West and started chartering his own light tackle boat. Soon after, he purchased a 52' custom-built vessel and began running offshore adventures.

How cancellations work
Free cancellation up to 3 days prior to trip
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Reserve with a 15% booking deposit, pay the captain the rest
When the captain confirms your trip, BoatBooker charges your credit card a 15% booking deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
