Great group excursion
We had such a great time with Captain Dave! He was prepared with sunchill chairs, an icechest cooler, a floating lily pad, and trash can to make our sandbar trip perfect! The boat was very spacious with extremely comfortable seating for our group of 4. The company was amazing at communication with the variable keys weather. DEFINITELY BOOK THIS CHARTER!!

great day on the water
What a wonderful day! 6 of us went out with Scott for a 5 hour trip island hopping and a little fishing as well. The Lil Yachty was a great boat with plenty of room for 6 and shade. Scott did a great job taking us to some great spots. We highly recommend Scott and will use him again if we're in the area!

About Sandbar Tours
Sandbar Tours are relaxed boat trips to shallow, sandy islands that appear at low tide. They offer calm water, open views, and easy fun in the sun. If you love simple beach time with a twist, this trip is for you.
Expect a smooth cruise over clear water to a bright sandbar. Your captain will anchor in shallow water so you can step off and wade. Swim, snorkel, or beachcomb for shells. Bring a camera for the wide horizon and bright colors. The wake is gentle, the pace is slow, and the vibe is easy.
Most trips start with a short safety talk and a plan based on tides and weather. Crews provide life jackets, also called PFDs, and help you board. Boats vary by group and area: a center console or bowrider for small groups, a pontoon for comfort, a skiff with a shallow draft for skinny water, or a roomy catamaran for stability. Many offer shade, coolers, and simple gear. Captains know where to anchor for clear water and space.
Sandbar Tours suit families, couples, and groups of friends. First-time boaters feel at ease in the calm, shallow setting. Kids can play in ankle-deep water while adults relax. Pack sunscreen, a hat, towels, water shoes, snacks, and plenty of water. Expect sun and salt spray, and plan to keep electronics dry.
Before you go, check local rules for licenses, permits, and operating limits. Make sure your captain holds required credentials and follows safety standards, such as those set by the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG). Know the capacity rating for your group, and follow alcohol and wildlife guidelines. Local rules vary by location.
