Not a great trip
Our trip was not very good and our group of 8 was dissapointed. Captain Alex was on his phone for most of the entire day. He drove the boat so so slowly we did not cover much area at all. He had very little interaction with us all day. The cost is very high for the value we received.
We are sorry to hear that Gloria and her group were disappointed with their experience. However, we would like to clarify a few points for the benefit of future guests. Our yacht is not a speedboat. It is a comfortable cruising yacht designed for enjoying the coastline, the sea and the scenery. The purpose of the tour is not to travel at high speed or simply cover as many miles as possible. Furthermore, the area where we operate includes a marine protected area, where navigation must be conducted responsibly and in accordance with the applicable regulations. We will never compromise safety, responsible navigation or the marine environment simply to travel faster. The swimming stops were made in open-water areas, as specifically requested by the group, and the itinerary was adapted accordingly. We would also like to clarify the comment regarding Captain Alex being “on his phone for most of the entire day.” This does not accurately reflect the reason for using the phone. Alex was regularly checking weather and sea conditions through a dedicated weather application, which is an important part of operating a boat safely. In addition, the guests themselves requested Bluetooth music, and the phone was used to provide the music they wanted during the trip. Regarding the comment that Alex had “very little interaction” with the group, our approach is to allow guests to relax and enjoy their time on board while remaining available whenever they need assistance or information. We fully respect that the group may have had different expectations and that they personally did not feel the experience represented good value. However, we believe it is important for future guests to have the correct context: this was a cruising yacht experience in a protected marine environment, with swimming stops arranged according to the group’s request and with safety and weather conditions continuously monitored. We remain committed to providing safe, professional and relaxed yacht experiences while respecting the sea and the regulations governing the area.
