Make sure to have everything in writing and re-confirm details.
The Captain and crew were very nice and the boat was fine. However, I had specifically asked to stay in the river as several of our guests get seasick and I confirmed with the 1st mate when getting on the boat when I asked about the ocean and said "ok let's definitely stay on the river today", but then we went out into the rocky ocean anyway. I also had messages through this app asking the Captain to stay in the river. I also had messages asking the Captain to pay for another hour. He then called me and we spoke on the phone and I confirmed the price to include 2 rafts for swimming and an extra hour to see the sunset on the water, since the sunset was my husband's only request for his 40th bday celebration. The Captain did not write this down so we had to abruptly leave the boat since he booked another cruise. I had messages from our convo but there was nothing to be done at that point. Very disappointed for all the money and planning that was put into this trip.
G-day Melissa, all our bookings are confirmed & I’m not sure what went wrong in your case. You asked about extra time & the rafts but it was never confirmed with our office. This is why you were only charged for a 2 hour cruise and added the rafts on that day. As far as the ocean is concerned we give you the option before we leave dock & are more than happy to keep you in the river if specified at our pre departure briefing.
