    August boating trip

    Private Sunset Tour (PM) • 8 adults

    We had an amazing time with Mr. Pelicano tours! We had seven people for our private tour and the boat was more than big enough to accommodate us all. We left from Playa Flamingo, about a 30 minute bus ride from Tamarindo. Sebastian helped arrange for the ground transportation at a modest extra cost. The boat itself is quite nice and well maintained. The head (bathroom) is small but tidy and functional. There were lots of recreational items including an inflatable raft, a paddleboard, several sets of snorkeling gear, and even a fishing rig! We didn't catch anything, but that isn't really the point, is it? The staff was amazing. Captain Miguel took us to a nice cove with limited wind and chop. We had a blast jumping off the boat, trying and failing to paddleboard, and snorkeling with the first mate on some nearby reefs. Our steward did an amazing job of serving us delicious drinks, and a very nice, light meal. We were lucky to be able to stay out for more than the 5 hours we booked, which was awesome, and saw a beautiful sunset on the way back to port. The costs were comparable to other boats in the area, and we felt it was a good value. Don't miss out on what is certain to be the highlight of your trip to Costa Rica!

    Awesome trip and helpful crew!

    We took the morning trip from 8-12, with 11 people ages ranging from 11 to 78 and we had a great time! They were helpful with the older adults and allowed flexibility for the activities we did! It started off with a beautiful and relaxing ~1 hour cruise along the rock and island formations, then we stopped at the secret beach where we could swim, snorkel, jump, paddle board, use the platform, or just relax! They provided drinks and snacks including delicious fruit, and the whole crew was very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend, was a highlight of our trip to Costa Rica!!

    Highlight of our trip to Costa Rica!

    We can’t recommend this boat tour enough! The crew is amazing, very attentive to all on board, including our 4 high energy children! We caught two fish, saw dolphins, snorkel, and swam in an almost secluded beach. Our lunch was delicious and the crew kept the drinks flowing! The cherry on top was the sunset view at the end of our trip. Book the susnset cruise, I promise you won’t regret it! Thank you again to the wonderful crew. You were all amazing! we will be back!

    Amazing time!!

    Marine Adventure. From 10 to 3pm • 13 adults • 7 children

    We had such a wonderful time on this boat! The experience and the crew was incredible! From snorkeling, to paddle boarding to beaching, we couldn’t ask for more! There were 13 of us, 6 adults and 7 kids and everyone had a blast! They even made fresh sashimi from tuna that was caught while we were out. The crew was super friendly and the food and drinks were top notch! We will definitely look to book again if we come back and will recommend to all of our friends.

    Awesome Experience

    We had a group of 13 people in our group - 6 adults and 7 kids. We had the best time. The crew was very attentive to the both the adults and the kids. They make a fantastic chicken fajita lunch, and the drinks were great. The third level jump deck was a hit with the kids and waiting the sunset as we headed back to the harbor was special. I would highly recommend Mr Pelicano Private Boat tour!
