We try to go snorkeling every place we can and even though many said the snorkeling in Tamarindo was not very good we had a great time.  Sailfish arrived right on schedule and at our first stop we saw tons of fish and while there is no beautiful coral we still had fun and I enjoyed the fact that the area was shallow allowing us the get up close. We had the best day on the water with our captain, Bismark.  We were pretty low-key and didn’t really care where we went or what we did—just wanted to enjoy some time on a boat.  What we got—beach visits, a little snorkeling, delicious—I mean delicious, guacamole made on the boat, swim time, ice cold beer, fresh pineapple, and even caught a fish when heading back to shore.  We also had a perfect sunny day with calm seas so really couldn’t have had a better experience.  Highly recommend... we had an awesone time.  captain bismark was super friendly, a good captain, spoke good english and worked hard to find a good snorkeling spot.  the cooller was full of cold beverages.  we had super yummy guac and chips and snakcs.  this was a great trip.  gracias captain bismark!!

Nice roomy boat with gear and plenty of space. CPT Bismark was on point and brought plenty of beverages ams snacks; including homeade pico de gao and guacamole. Found several secluded spots.
