Not worth the $$$

4 Hour – Sandbar Pontoon Rental9 adults3 children

The boat was in need of some TLC. The swim pad was also in need of repair. And we ran out of gas twice... with a storm looming close by. The trip was not worth the $400 price tag, $200 Captain's fee and 20% tip. I would give Glass Bottom Boats another try if I was assured that my family would be getting a newer and better equipped boat.

We appreciate the feedback and are disappointed you trip wasn’t what you expected. Our lily pad was broken at Crab Island the day before your trip and a new one was already on order - out of our control but it was replaced immediately. The boat did not run out of gas, we always keep a full tank and are prepared. On that day the motor did short out twice and it’s already been fixed. This is our first year in business and we plan to upgrade our boat every year and we’d love to have you back with us!

    We had an amazing time at Crab Island thanks to Captain Justin! From the moment we stepped on the boat, he was friendly, professional, and made everyone feel comfortable. He knew all the best spots, made sure we had everything we needed, and kept the day fun, relaxing, and stress-free. The boat was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for spending the day on the water with all the water toys he had. If you're looking for a great day at Crab Island, I highly recommend booking with Captain Justin. We couldn't have asked for a better captain and will definitely book with him again the next time we're in Destin!

    Great excursion!

    Hidden island pontoon/jet ski combo • 7 adults

    Our entire family enjoyed the excursion. While deciding which excursion was best for us, I had several questions. I was quite impressed with how quickly Glass Bottom Boats responded. Captain Grant was friendly, helpful and went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. The jet ski was a real highlight!

    It was a fun experience. Crab island is too crowded and not much to to do, I would try other destinations next time.

    Our captain, Justin, did a fantastic job of explaining where we were and different things about the history of the area. It was a little cooler on the sunset cruise. Be sure to take something warm to wear. The McClellan family
