- I am a lifelong waterman, having surfed and fished most of my life. I started surfing at the age of 7 and competed at a national level well into my 40s. My mother was an avid fisherman, and I grew up fishing with her and her close circle of friends, some of whom are now enshrined in the International Game Fish Hall of Fame in Davie, FL. I had my first boat at age 12 and later crewed on racing sailboats in the Southern Ocean Racing Conference. I have also worked on commercial fishing boats and owned my own vessels, including the original 'Wedgie' and now the 'Wedgie²,' for over 30 years. After retiring from my primary career, I decided to dedicate myself fully to what I know and love best, life on the water.

- Fishing is definitely my favorite thing about being on the water, but almost anything you can do on a boat is what makes me happy!
