- I'm a life long waterman, having surfed and fished most of my life. I started surfing when I was 7 years old, and competed at a National level well into my 40's. My mother was an avid fisherman and I grew up fishing with she and her close circle of friends. A couple of them are now enshrined in the International Gamefish Hall of Fame in Davie FL. I had my first boat at age 12. I crewed on racing sailboats in the Southern Ocean Racing Conference. I worked on Commercial Fishing boats. I've owned my own boats, the original "Wedgie" and the "Wedgie²", for over 30 years. I retired from my real job, and decided to stick with what I know and love the best!

- Fishing is definitely my favorite thing about being on the water, but almost anything you can do on a boat is what makes me happy!
