My name is Chris Cilliers and I am the owner of Carpe Diem Charters in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. I have spent most of my life on the water and have a deep passion for boating, fishing, snorkeling, and exploring the islands that make the Virgin Islands one of the most beautiful places in the world. As a local captain and marine professional, I know the best beaches, snorkel spots, and hidden coves throughout St. Thomas, St. John, and the British Virgin Islands. I love helping guests experience the Caribbean the way it is meant to be enjoyed, whether that means snorkeling vibrant reefs, relaxing on white sand beaches, or visiting iconic island destinations. My goal is to provide a relaxed, safe, and unforgettable day on the water. Every trip is customized so guests can experience the best of the USVI and BVI while enjoying a comfortable boat, great service, and the incredible natural beauty of the Virgin Islands.

    7 Hr – U.S Virgin Islands Adventure • 5 adults • 3 children

    Kevin was amazing!! Showed us the best spots to snorkel and hang on beach. Was so good with my kids. Didn’t insert himself into our day. Answered any questions we had but understood we were there to enjoy each other and allowed us to do so. Would definitely recommend and would definitely use caroe diem again and hopefully have Kevin as our captain.

    Great way to experience USVI!

    Rough start getting to leeward side but after 20 min rest of the trip was fabulous. Beautiful scenery. Crystal clear water. Great snorkeling. Cooler full of beverages. Two stops at floating restaurants. A perfect day.

    My family had a fantastic time in the BVI with Carpe Diem and Captain Kevin! They accommodated all our requests and were eager to make sure we had a good time. Would highly recommend!
