- I grew up on and around boats. My dad is a Captain, my husband is a Captain, and now I am a Captain. I have been operating small boats since I was roughly 15. I have assisted my husband on fishing charters several times. I have owned several businesses and wanted to try something close to home. My husband saw a need for female boat captains and when I said I was ready for a change he encouraged this. We were foster parents for 3 years and 3 of our own. I love kids. I have been a work-from-home Insurance Adjuster the last 3 years and a Sunday school teacher for the last 4 years. I moved to Bradenton in 2014, but husband has lived here his whole life. I'm super excited to show people this beautiful area.
