- Background
- As a preteen my family moved to Montego Bay Jamaica from Florida. There I developed my love for the ocean. As long as I had my school work done I could go fish with the Jamaican commercial fishermen. After moving back to the States as a teenager I fished the charter boats as a mate in Sarasota. Having my own boat I fished the Gulf Waters daily. After getting all my hours logged for my captains license I went to Seaschool the become a USCG Captain. In 1996 I started my own charter business. Knowing the area and having tons of requests from non fihsermen to just "go cruising" we added the Water Taxi Tour Boat to our Fleet. Providing fun stress free boat tours and sharing our local knowledge with vacationers and new residents has been fantastic.
