Background: As a captain, I feel most at home when I’m at the helm. Whether I'm conducting private tours, leading dolphin and eco-tours, or teaching new boat owners the ins and outs of boating, everything feels incredibly natural to me. As a child, I would drive my grandfather around the swamps of Louisiana while he fished, and it was during those moments that I discovered my passion for being behind the wheel. As an adult, that passion remains strong, regardless of the body of water I’m on. From the freshwater swamps of Louisiana to the backcountry of the Florida Keys, and from the Intracoastal Waterway to the brackish bays, being on the water is where I truly belong.
Techniques: I enjoy watching and learning about dolphins. I invest a lot of time studying behavior and the sounds that dolphins use to "talk" to each other. I also enjoy a relaxing sunset out on the boat.
