- I’ve been around boats my whole life and love sharing that passion with others. Over the years, I’ve owned plenty of boats and rented them out, which inspired me to get my captain’s license. Many people want to enjoy the water without worrying about navigating, anchoring, or handling busy waterways—so I take care of it all. My guests just need to relax, have fun, and enjoy their day on the water—that’s my job! I want to give a quick explanation because theres alot that do not know. Pontoons have 2 toons under them. A tritoon has 3. The toons are the aluminum cylinders under the deck. Tritoons are way more stable and do not rock and sway as bad. It also floats better along with added hp engines on tritoons to get to the destination faster. I captain a tritoon!! I believe it is more suited for going into the gulf to find dolphins and shelling in my opinion. It's my job to keep everyone safe so we can have a great time without a sketchy boat ride. Noone wants to be scared all day because waters coming over the front of a pontoon boat. Thanks for listening.
