- The fish/gig combo trips are fully customizable. We set this trip up based upon your needs and desires. We can start a couple hours before dark, catch some reds and or trout then try to complete your Grand Slam by gigging up some tasty flounder. You can also start your trip a couple hours before daylight and gig till the sun comes up then fish. Either option is a great way to enjoy the beauty of Galveston Bay. We will provide you with Shimano reels, Falcon rods, artificial lures from touts to topwaters, and or live bait keep energized by our oxygen system on all fishing trips. Gig trips include 10’ bamboo gigs, 8’ aluminum gigs and fishing bows. Gigging from our 20’ custom flounder boat will keep you dry and comfortable. Walking gigs and lights are available if you would like to hunt them up on foot. GFC has you covered. Fish cleaning and bait if necessary are included on this trip
