His father and grandfather were fishermen, so life on the water was always part of his everyday world. As a child, he spent every free moment on or near the sea, learning how to navigate, fish, and understand the rhythm of the waves. At the age of 16, he started working on traditional wooden boats along the Turkish coast. Over the years, he gained experience, learned from older captains, and worked his way up from sailor to first mate and eventually to captain. With more than 20 years of experience today, he knows the coastline between Antalya and Bodrum like the back of his hand. Şener is not only a skilled and reliable captain, but also someone who genuinely cares about his guests. His calm and friendly nature, combined with his deep knowledge of the sea, makes every trip with him a safe and unforgettable experience.
