Captain Brett Franklin is a Florida native with deep roots in life on the water. After graduating high school, he served in the U.S. Navy for four years before returning home to Destin, FL, where he began working toward obtaining his USCG Captain's License. He has now been a licensed captain for 8 years. Captain Brett is highly experienced and dedicated to providing safe, enjoyable, and memorable trips. He goes above and beyond to make every charter entertaining, fun, and exciting for guests of all ages. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about marine life and fishing, and maintains a consistently professional and safety-focused approach onboard. His lifelong passion for boating and fishing is evident in every trip, making him a great guide to spend a day on the water with.

    We cannot recommend Captain Brett and his charter enough! We are a family of five with small children, and we were a little nervous about how the kids would handle a day out on the water. Captain Brett completely blew us away with how accommodating, patient, and genuinely kind he was with our family. From the moment we stepped on board, he made sure the kids felt safe and excited. He went above and beyond to tailor the trip to our pace, ensuring everyone had a fantastic time without any stress. The boat was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly equipped for a family day out.
