Background: Hi, my name is Dominico Vandyke Boyd, age 50yrs (Bahamian) a twenty-four-year veteran Police Officer, having attained thus far the rank of Inspector. Having received (1. LONG SERVICE GOOD CONDUCT & 2.MERITORIOUS POLICE MEDALS) Since 2002 I have been posted in the Northern Bahamas (Abaco, Grand Bahama, presently in Nassau, New Providence). I felt a deep passion for the surrounding waters of The Bahamas. Due to that, I have attained my vessel, my, B Class, then A Class Masters' Captain License (300 tons), and all the necessary documentation. During my Policing career, I have been trained by the United States Coast Guard earning six pins for various marine, hull, outboards, and operations courses. I further trained with The Royal Bahamas Defence Force, The Royal Bahamas Police Force in the Marine Support Division and as a certified Open water "II" Diver. Prior to this, I had a love for the Tourism Industry where I served professionally starting from The Bahamas Hotel Training College now amalgamated with the University of The Bahamas, and had various Hospitality jobs. I attained my (AA, Hons) Associate Degree in Hospitality Management and Certificate in General Catering Skills and Bahama host from the Ministry of Tourism. Last but not least, appointed as a Justice of The Peace. The current vessel I use is a 2006 22ft Angler 204 series, 2025 refurbished, 12-seater, heavily foamed, fiberglass hull, powered by**hidden content** HP Yamaha 4-stroke . The bench storage for the included snorkel gear flips forward as a fishing fighting chair along with forward bow fighting chairs. The visibility is high with night or sunset lights. My Co-Captain Mr. Jason Culmer a 14 years Taxi operator and BahamaHost recepient is an excellent Team Member
