  The staff was very friendly and helpful and the boat was very nice and performed well. They even gave us an upgrade which was very nice. The day we rented it was quite windy and fairly rough but that wasn’t really the issue. What we didn’t like (but I understand why they do it to protect their equipment) was they make you use a GPS enabled app. This itself isn’t an issue, but you are EXTREMELY limited on where you can go and there are red areas near almost every place you’d want to anchor and swim. We were advised to stay AT LEAST 200 meters from the shore which means you have NO opportunity to swim in shallower waters that the boat could otherwise easily navigate. They require anchoring in deeper waters and swimming 200 or so meters which is not reasonable in most sea states. They did give us ONE powered water jet (there were 4 of us) but with anything other than glass calm seas you aren’t swimming 200 meters to snorkel in shallower water. We rented from other locations previously that didn’t restrict us like that and we saw amazing reefs and fish, because we anchored safely in 10-15 foot water near the shore. They did explain that many people have damaged their equipment and so I understand the need to protect their assets but with an experienced boater wanting to find a quite cove and anchor in shallow waters or even go ashore, this is not a good option. Again, very friendly, excellent equipment, just know you’ll be limited only to open water and won’t really be able to see much when snorkeling unless the sea is VERY calm.

Regarding the GPS application, which we recommend our customers download, we would like to clarify that it is designed entirely for their convenience. We have received excellent feedback about it so far, as it helps visitors who are unfamiliar with the area easily discover and navigate to some of the best locations in Mirabello Bay. The application features more than 20 recommended locations that our guests can explore during their rental. Regarding the 200-meter distance from the shore, we would like to clarify that this is not a restriction imposed by our company, but rather a requirement under Greek maritime regulations. As you mentioned, many shallow-water areas are located near beaches, and Greek legislation establishes safety distances for motorboats to prevent accidents involving swimmers. We understand that some other rental companies may choose not to inform their customers about these restrictions in order to make their services appear more attractive. However, we believe that complying with maritime regulations and prioritizing everyone’s safety should never be optional. As for the sea scooter, this is an optional extra service and is not included in the standard boat rental price. Therefore, we provided the exact number of sea scooters that had been booked and paid for. Once again, thank you for your feedback and for your kind words about our staff and equipment.   We had a great day on the water with George! Boat was in good condition and he took us to some great swimming spots and a wonderful Taverna for lunch! Highly recommend!
