We purposefully avoided the party areas, and were taken to a quiet spot where we could just swim and snorkel. If you know what you want to do, and ask the captain for recommendations, they do a great job finding the perfect spot.

Make sure you are using reef safe sunscreen, stay hydrated, water is very clear but there will likely be seaweed/sargassum floating on top of the water, which doesn’t stink in the water, just swim around it.

We had such a great time with Captain Dave! He was prepared with sunchill chairs, an icechest cooler, a floating lily pad, and trash can to make our sandbar trip perfect! Accommodating, punctual and great communication.
Capt Kevin was willing to build a trip for the two us to include a boat tour of the area and an attempt to catch the sunset. Showed us some places only visible by water and gave some backstory. A quick stop at an island to cool off too. Was conversational but not intrusive. Boat was comfortable, nicely maintained for a salt environment and perfect for our needs. Highly recommend.

Captain Matt clearly cares about what he does! We saw so many fish ! He knew the perfect private spot to go to! It was relaxing and fun. We felt perfectly safe with him. It was an awesome experience! The weather was a little windier than we had hoped for but our captain made it work! He suggested a couple spots to take us to based on his local knowledge that were incredible for snorkeling! We got to see lots of marine life including a sea turtle, eagle ray, lots of fish, and a manatee + baby manatee to top it off! We had a great time and would recommend again.

The only bad thing I have to say is that I should’ve booked the trip for longer! Captain Mervin was great! Kept us educated about where we were going, where we were at and things to do. Overall great experience very knowledgeable felt very comfortable and safe. after the excursion, it was great to be able to cool off in the pool. Everything was very clean very nice.
