We purposefully avoided the party areas, and were taken to a quiet spot where we could just swim and snorkel. If you know what you want to do, and ask the captain for recommendations, they do a great job finding the perfect spot.

Make sure you are using reef safe sunscreen, stay hydrated, water is very clear but there will likely be seaweed/sargassum floating on top of the water, which doesn’t stink in the water, just swim around it.

Early April may be windy, which can impact tours, you may want to wait until you get here to book, because the forecast is rarely accurate more than a day in advance. Sightseeing/sand bar trips are likely less impacted than snorkeling/fishing trips.

Captain Matthew was terrific!
Being from Wisconsin, cooler temps don't bother us as much as others. The strength of the wind plays the biggest role in how warm it feels. We had a pretty windy day with highs in the low 70s but we still very much enjoyed the charter.

Captain Matt clearly cares about what he does! We saw so many fish ! He knew the perfect private spot to go to! It was relaxing and fun. We felt perfectly safe with him. extremely friendly captain and first mate. we had a wonderful day on the water snorkeling and floating at the sandbar. they have everything you need and provided a great day for my family. we saw tons of fish on the reef and enjoyed the sandbar after.

Fun sunset cruise
I had a specific plan in mind for our first night down in the Keys and Captain Dalton worked with me to create a memorable night for my family. With a customized plan, we were able to coordinate a unique pickup and dropoff. Dalton was friendly and chill and we enjoyed our time on the water very much.

Great day of snorkeling
The captain was very experienced and knowledgable. He took us to several reefs where we saw a wide variety of sea life which included many colorful fish as well as some baby hammerhead and nurse sharks. It was great to have a charter and not have to deal with the crowds. We finished the day taking some great pictures in the sandbar. This boat was one of the main highlights of our trip to the Keys!
