Vancouver Area Cruises is a beautifully restored Defevre 40 Passage Maker motor yacht, restored in 2018 and based in Richmond. With space for up to 12 guests, this comfortable and spacious vessel is an excellent choice for private sightseeing, scenic cruises, and memorable days exploring the Vancouver area from the water.
Powered by twin 350 HP diesel Perkins engines, the yacht cruises at up to 10 knots, giving you plenty of time to relax and take in the scenery. Enjoy the fresh air from the aft or bow sundecks, flybridge, or bathing platform, while the bimini provides welcome shade when needed. Onboard amenities include a kitchen, refrigerator, ice box, grill, audio system, and outside speakers, with drinks available as an optional add-on.
Your experienced captain, Gord Parsons, specializes in boat and yacht tours and is ready to help make your time on the water enjoyable and stress-free. Swimming and alcohol are welcome, and children are also invited to join the adventure.
Safety is a priority, with GPS, radar, VHF radio, chart plotter, depth finder, sonar, anchor, bow thruster, and life jackets onboard.

Security deposit of CA $250 per tour is required
A refundable deposit of CA $250 per tour is required at boat pick-up and will be returned to you when the boat is returned without damage. Security deposit is to be paid directly to the charter operator.
Fuel is included
Fuel is included in the price of the rental.
How cancellations work
Free cancellation up to 3 days prior to trip
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
How you can pay
Reserve with a 10% booking deposit, pay the captain the rest
When the captain confirms your trip, BoatBooker charges your credit card a 10% booking deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:

Bank transfer
When paying the remaining balance with a credit card, an additional 2% charge will apply.
