Kennedy Fishing Legacy is a three generation local family welcoming guests aboard to experience the beauty of St. Simons Island, Jekyll Island, Brunswick & The Golden Isles from the water. Enjoy a private cruise through the scenic marshes and coastal waterways of the Golden Isles. With space for up to six guests, this experience is perfect for couples, families, friends, and special celebrations.
Leave the fishing gear behind and settle in for a front-row view of nature’s most spectacular show as the sun sets over the marshes, filling the sky with brilliant shades of gold, pink, and purple. Guests are welcome to bring their favorite beverages and light snacks while enjoying the boat’s spacious bow sundeck, audio system, outside speakers, and comfortable seating.
The boat is equipped with modern navigation and safety features, including GPS, chart plotter, depth finder, fishfinder, sonar, radar, VHF radio, anchor, and life jackets. Families, pets, and celebrations are all welcome, making Kennedy Fishing Legacy the perfect choice for creating lasting memories along Georgia’s beautiful coast.

Captain Rusty was a great host for our family outing. He was warm and welcoming as well as knowledgeable about the area and the ocean. Captain Rusty had refreshments and ice for us, we chatted and listened to music as the sun set. Book your trip now you won’t regret it!

Now retired from his professional career, Captain Rusty is dedicating his days to his ultimate passion. Bringing notable tournament awards and incredible stories of fishing alongside local legends, he has a wealth of history to share. He looks forward to passing on his love of the sport and unmatched knowledge of fishing the Golden Isles to every guest who steps aboard.

How cancellations work
Free cancellation up to 3 days prior to trip
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Reserve with a 10% booking deposit, pay the captain the rest
When the captain confirms your trip, BoatBooker charges your credit card a 10% booking deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
